About the trainer:
Dr. Frank Olmos, Executive Director of Classified Personnel for Bellflower Unified School District, is a distinguished HR leader with over 18 years of experience in Merit System Human Resources management. A 2024 Stephen E. Bemis Memorial Award recipient, he has revolutionized personnel assessment through innovations like Broad-Based (consolidated) testing and AI integration in HR. Holding a joint doctorate in educational administration and leadership from Cal State LA and UC Irvine, he also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Cal State LA, teaching statistics and data interpretation. As the founder of DFO HR Consulting and a published author, Dr. Olmos remains at the forefront of modernizing HR practices, focusing on AI's role in human resources while upholding merit principles and equitable employment standards.

Beyond Compliance: Embedding Strategic Succession in Government Organizations
Curtis Germany, MBA, SPHR, Assistant General Manager of Human Resources for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, will discuss how HR leaders can move beyond reactive succession planning by using workforce analytics, risk mapping, and talent pipeline strategies to build long-term organizational resilience.

Survivor Protocol: What the Zombie Apocalypse Teaches Us About How Work Gets Done

Dr. WRIPAC:

Dr. WRIPAC is a professional networking event that allows our members and guests to socialize and get to know one another outside of the meeting. We hope that you will be able to join us for some after-hour socializing and networking.

This year we will be participating in an escape room experience at The Escape Game Rancho Cucamonga. Participants will be able to choose from four unique escape rooms: Prison Break, Special Ops: Mysterious Market, The Depths, and Timeliner: Train through Time. We will divide into teams and enjoy a friendly competition to see which group can escape first!
