About our presenter:
Dr. Frank Olmos is an accomplished HR professional, consultant, and innovator. He spearheads research and evaluation at Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), where he formerly was a Senior HR Analyst, and concurrently serves in his academic role as a Statistics Professor at California State University, Los Angeles. From these roles, Dr. Olmos has cultivated a diverse and comprehensive skill set. His proficiency covers an array of specialties, from job analysis, personnel assessments, job classifications, and labor-management relations. Further, Dr. Olmos' extensive expertise encompasses project management, artificial intelligence, data analytics, along with designing sophisticated data collection/visualization systems. This multi-disciplinary knowledge allows him to navigate and lead effectively across various industry sectors.
Dr. Olmos is recognized as a significant contributor in the HR field, having served as a board member of the Cooperative Organization for the Development of Employee Selection Procedures (CODESP) and currently a board member with the Personnel Testing Council of Southern California (PTC-SC). His influence is highlighted by his authorship of multiple books, which include "Appetite for Differentiation: The Ins and Outs of Multiple Choice Testing," and his dynamic presentations at professional conferences nationwide. Dr. Olmos' academic background includes a doctorate in Educational Administration and Leadership, a master's degree in Public Administration, and a bachelor's degree in Political Science. He is also the founder and president of DFO HR Consulting.
